Our By-Pass Rotameters are designed for pipelines with a diameter of 50 NB and above, extending up to 1000 NB. These rotameters offer an efficient way to measure fluid flow rates by utilizing a bypass line.

They are available in SS-316, SS-304, or P.P. materials and can be configured with corner tapping (carrier ring), flange tapping, or D and D/2 tapping. The accuracy of these rotameters is ± 2% FSD, and high and low flow switches can be included upon request. By-Pass Rotameters can be installed in both vertical and horizontal pipeline orientations.

By-Pass Rotameters: Efficient Flow Measurement Solution

A bypass rotameter, also known as a bypass flow meter, is a type of flow measurement instrument that measures the flow rate of a fluid in a system using a bypass line. It is made up of two parallel lines: a major flow line and a smaller bypass line. Bypass rotameters are widely employed in situations where accurate flow measurement is required but installing a full-sized flow meter in the main flow line is either impossible or prohibitively expensive. They offer a low-cost option for monitoring fluid flow rates in a variety of sectors, including chemical processing, water treatment, and HVAC systems.

Our By-Pass Rotameters provide an economical and effective solution for fluid flow measurement, making them a valuable choice for various industries and applications.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs about BY-Pass Rotameters

Bypass rotameters are often less expensive than other flow measuring devices.

These devices often have a minimal pressure drop, reducing system energy losses.

Certain fluids, such as those that are very corrosive or abrasive, may be incompatible with the materials used in bypass rotameters.
