Project Overview
Panipat Refinery, commissioned in July 1998, stands as one of India’s most technically advanced public sector refinery complexes. Located in Haryana’s historic district, the Panipat Complex is India’s largest integrated Refinery and Petrochemical hub, and the third largest in South East Asia. It includes a Refinery, an Aromatics Complex (PX/PTA), and an Olefinic Complex (Naphtha Cracker).ent system. These meters are essential for ensuring efficient and effective treatment processes, enabling the plant to meet its operational goals.
Praj Industries Limited, a leader in process solutions for bio-energy and zero-liquid discharge systems, served as the technology licensor and EPCM partner for the 2G Ethanol Bio-Refinery project. This landmark project, inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi, uses proprietary technology to process rice straw into ethanol, supporting sustainable energy initiatives.
Flowtech’s Contribution:
Flowtech Instruments was selected to supply 36 Electromagnetic Flowmeters with HART V7.6 capabilities for key water treatment systems at the refinery. The flowmeters were installed in the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Raw-Water Treatment Plant (RWTP), and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring precise and reliable flow measurement throughout the critical processes.
Flowtech’s cutting-edge Electromagnetic Flowmeters, known for their accuracy and durability, were instrumental in optimizing the water treatment systems within this state-of-the-art bio-refinery. The advanced HART protocol also provided seamless integration and enhanced communication for real-time monitoring and control.
